Teaching Blogging to My Students (7C)

Blogging and English..! These are two things I want my students know though they are still in the seventh grade.  So... during this season, I try to teach them how to use blogger in learning English.  Some steps are taken as follows:

Give explanation to the students. In conventional class, writing is done on a peice of paper or book.  After finishing their writing, the teacher usually checks their works by adding some important notes on it.  In blogging, the students write without ending.  It means whenever they need to edit their work, they can do it by opening the posting page and edit their last work.

Devide them into some groups. In my class, I have five groups of blogging, and two students do it personally. Before they write in english, one thing they have to do is guiding them technically in setting up, layouting of blogging. 

After they have got understanding of it, ask them to write for the first of their posting in any topics.  In this part, I have to walk from one to other groups checking up their problems in writing, especially their grammar. Using of Google Translator may be allowed by teachers' guidance.

In the end of the activity teachers' role is checking and commenting on their posting, it could be for their diction, grammar, style, or etc as long as it is needed for revising.
